Very comfortable tent. You can stay completely straight changing your clothes.
The only bad thing is that it should have a bigger floor mat for the entrance...
I like it very much. Easy to install.
Goes up with ease and packs down a lot smaller than when it first arrived. Easily goes into my top box
I have a GS 2020, I bought the tent because I’m 6 foot one and the tent is tall and light weight. I have not used it in the real world yet. I set it up in my dog training center and I love it. I am from Virginia Beach Virginia and plan on traveling this year. Thank you.
Absolutely love it, everyone asks about it wants one too.
Only issue is the trip hazard from the orange straps at the base of the garage area, but that depends on the ground situation I've learned.
Just very happy, with the ordering, delivery and setup/use of the tent.
Love the tent! The first one sent had some quality control issues but LR staff quickly delt with it in a professional manner. I will definitely recommend this tent. After a long ride this weekend it was awesome to have a sitting area out of the wind. My riding partner has one, we just faced them towards each other and relaxed. Great trip! great tent!
I will not use it untill next season. But it looks to be both well and strong seams. And it is a perfect size.
I have traveled all around Maine with this tent in both rain and shine. I love it. Best tent I have used on my bike.
This tent cannot only be used for motorcycles but for ebikes too, set it up and it keeps my radrunner electric bike safe and dry and not left in the open on rainy days and nights amd out of sight from thieves, cheking and taking measurements to see if their pannier bags will fit my ebike frame, the tent itself is the best investment i made, a great of kit.
This is a great tent! The first time I used it we had a thunderstorm overnight that dropped about 4 inches of rain. We had put all the camp chairs and fire wood in my "garage" to keep them dry. I also stayed dry in the tent and enjoyed the storm without any worries. I love the idea of having a dry space to hang out in when it rains so I bought the awning kit. I can't wait to use it on my next camping trip. No more hauling tarps along!
Quick to set up, loved the space I would recommend this tent

I’m taking this tent In my journey above and beyond me but my dream as I started in East Falmouth MA USA and my final destination is Fortalezs CE Brazil 12000 miles that’s about a 10 week 93% off-road trip on my Ténéré 700.

Really good space for cooking and relaxing in bad weather. Easy to set up . Lots of smart pockets and hooks
Only thing missing is a couple of vents for airflow in the tent during vi ad weather, it gets damp from condensation inside during the night.
Unfortunately it’s getting late in the season up here in northern British Columbia for tenting but couldn’t wait to set it up.
It was super easy and only took me 15 minutes on my first try!
Can’t wait to use it on my next adventure!
Absolutely love it, well made and thought out!!
The tent is a bit on the bigger side. Definitely for 2 people. Takes up a little bit more room on the bike. The stakes that it comes with are a great idea but I found that the cheap Amazon ones that look like big nails work better for harder ground. The material seems a bit thin and the way the tent stands it puts a lot of tension on the zippers where the bike/garage area is. I feel like a strap sewn into the material would help take some tension on the zippers and help promote longevity. Time to set up is about 15 minutes. Same for take down. Other riders that seen it set up mention that the garage area could double as a area for food prep or sitting area when the weather is nasty. I used it for 2 nights 1 out on the IDBDR. Overall a great tent that could use a few things but thats just my opinion.
Camped out on Steen's mountain for a few nights and rode the Steen's mountain loop on the adventure bike. My Lone Rider tent was the perfect tent for the journey. Packs small and light and easy to set up and take down not to mention the room inside the tent, was able to put my paniers and trunk inside with my sleeping gear with room to spare.
Very well made tent. Worth the money
An amazing tent that has been very well thought out for adventure riders. My partner and I are planning a long trip on our motorcycle that will see us travel from the east coast of Australia to the west coast return. We have tried 2 other tents and always felt they didn't fit our needs. After our 1st short trip away we knew the Moto Tent was exactly what we had been looking for. 100% recommend this tent to anyone.
It is amazing, perfect for all kinds of adventures whether alone or accompanied, the quality of the materials is spectacular, which guarantees me the best experience in any weather condition and at the same time its garage allows me to sleep peacefully by not having my things out in the open
Unfortunately I have only used the tent a couple of times. The one time it happened to be in a camping area covered in crushed gravel, which, caused have with my tent pegs. Broke two and scared up many others. The tent itself is awesome
I purchased the LoneRider MotoTent for all the reasons most people do. It offers the garage space, living space, and many features not offered on other similar tent platforms. What I discovered that LoneRider simply does it better than the rest! From the storage pockets to the interior doors that zip away to leave only the bug net door, it’s all done superbly, with a great deal of thought. Let me tell you, when I started my 2,500 journey through the Smoky and Appalachian Mountains, the weather predicted was dry, hot, and by many accounts, supposed to be perfect. What actually happened was about 800 miles of riding through literally thunderstorms with heavy rain. That garage space on the LoneRider MotoTent made for a pleasant unpacking experience each evening when I made camp. It took what could have been an unpleasant beginning to a trip, and made it great! I love this tent, and when it wears out, I’ll buy another. Though, as durable as is has been, and because LoneRider has an excellent selection of replacement pieces for their tents, I suspect I won’t have to do so for quite some time. Well done LoneRider!
I rode around Lake Michigan as a test run with the Moto Tent and an Overlander 48. The second day began with rain. But with my bike in the garage portion of the tent, I packed up everything (except for the tent) sheltered from the rain. That morning, I decided I'll never go back to a regular tent. Setting up and packing the tent is quick and easy, even by myself. I used the straps from the Overlander to attach both the bag and tent to my bike. Everything was easy to attach, and I was pleased with how secure everything stayed during the entire 1,300 miles (2,000Km). The tent fit me and my gear comfortably. Adding a second person and gear, might be a bit too tight. Having the garage as a second room to stay out of the weather, or to keep the bike away from curious eyes, is solid benefit. I will probably pick up the awning kit to provide shade for campsites with no trees. Being able to pack, and unpack, inside the garage of this tent makes it worth every penny, euro, or whatever you choose to spend. I forgot to take a picture of the tent set up...
Large entry room. Sleeping cabin perfect for 1 person. Also goes for 2 people, will be a little tight. Still need to practice a bit to get the right tension of the outer tent. But otherwise everything is great and easy to set up.
Bought it mainly for comfort. I used it once in my shakedown run for my 2 week trip in a week and a half. I always get lousy weather when I camp & bought it mainly for the “garage” to sit in when it pours and the ability to stand up. I’m 6’3” & it’s such a chore getting your motorcycle gear on in a tent plus I hate being stuck in a tent when it rains. This was easy to set up solo & quality is second to none. Heavy hit for me the comfort it brings out weighs that.
Happy with how easy the tent was to use and that i was warm and the frost was kept off the bike.
I received my Lone rider moto tent and set up up in the yard before heading out with it. This tent is amazing! Easy to set up and way more spacious then I had imagined. I highly recommend this tent!
My Harley Fit perfect. It was raining when I set up so was a bit of a struggle as I never tried putting the tent up before I went on my trip, still only took about 15 minutes to get everything right. Was nice to keep the bike and all my stuff dry at night, hang wet coat etc. on the bike to dry and leave my boots and wet clothes out of the sleeping quarters. Also it was very nice to be able to stand up and get dressed etc. under cover from the rain. It was very quick and easy to pack away. The tent fit back in the bag very easy. I really like not having to crawl around to get dressed etc.
Not only a true innovation in its category but also an amazing product. It's perfect for moto travel and that's what we want!
Good shelter, glad I got it. Next iteration needs to be capable of free standing. Steel stakes for real world application too.
Buy this tent and you will be the envy of all your riding buddies! The attention I got during the first few use's was amazing. LOVE the functionality - if the weather is poor, simply stay in the tent and do your cooking etc. Its so nice to be able to stand up, in private, and change clothes, boots etc. And if its raining, you can pack up your bike in the dry, and the tent is the last item you can quickly pack up and your golden. Customer service is #1 for any issues you may have. Worth every dollar!
Cool résiste bien au vent
Practiced a few times . This is a very well made product. Even teenage kid said, “ that’s badass dad”
Just FYI for those adventure motorcyclists who don’t pack the machine like a small mountain with spare tires, chains, BBQgrills etc. This tent is heavy and big. I actually just bought it because so many adventure bikers showed to have it. I am a bit concerned. Having said that. I am looking forward to having a more spacious, comfortable area. Compared to what I was using , this I think is gonna be worth the added weight. I paid $600 and it is worth every penny
Love my tent, quality all the way thru, easy setup. Getting ready to take it out to Get On rally in Sturgis, SD
Set the tent up for the first time yesterday 6/1/22. First impression was very positive. While a bit harder than I anticipated to set up, I am sure the next time will go much faster. Love the extra space for the bike and how well made the tent is. Will use this summer and report back. Definitely worth the money and glad I made the purchase.
Perfectly designed all around tent with or with out motorcycle!
This tent is fantastic. One day it rained so opened one side door put jammed some bike straps to door & pegs so water ran off & had room for my table, chair & little stove. The fact that bike & gear stayed dry & was able to walk around the bike to get into the boxes at front. Way better than the crappy tent I brought before that held moisture that made everything wet on inside.
I greatly appreciate my initial opinion of the Mototent. Quality of the product as well as customer service are top notch. Although some may prefer the more compact ADV, my choice between the two was based on having a vestibule in which I can standup and also prepare meals on those rainy days. Easy assembly.
I received my Lone Rider tent promptly and although it is not camping season in my area yet I was able to unpack and set it up in my backyard. I was impressed with the quality of materials and the protective casings for the poles and pegs. The size is awesome and I would say compared to my present two person tent, the sleeping area is generous. Attention to little details such as the colour coding, the accessory hooks inside the tent for hanging and securing are just the little things that make everything better. I am looking forward to getting out for an actual camp soon. Great product!
Quality is well beyond my expectations. I ride a Kawasaki Concours which is 40 inches wide at the saddlebag guards and it fits perfectly. The "cabin" is roomy and comfortable. I definitely recommend it to others.
AWESOME VALUE! Worth the price. Mounted on my R1250GS ADV 2000 mi trip Ohio to FL. Easy to set up(watch the videos first). I camped in Tellico Plains, TN (40-68 degrees) and although the tent was not heated I was dry and comfortable. In Pensacola, FL (70-90 degrees) I camped by the beach and let the ocean breezes cool me at night. The moto tent is vented so well that despite the heat I was very cool at night. It poured on me on night but I was completely dry and comfortable in my moto tent. In TN kept my R1250GS in the tent and each morning was dry despite the morning dew on everything.
While I have only put it up in my basement, it went up super easy and I love that I didn't have to fold it exactly right to fit back into the bag with the poles and pegs(the pegs I'll probably store somewhere else anyways, why risk puncture on a fall). As far as standing up inside, it beats regular tents by a mile and at 5'9" I can easily stand straight up in the motorcycle area. The inner tent, because of the air circulation space, not quite, but close enough and so much better than regular tent heights.
Really like the design and material quality. Found it easy to set up. Looking forward to using this tent this spring.
Love in northern Alberta Canada , haven’t had a chance to use it yet, not quite warm enough yet. Lol
loooks great in the package ...their is still snow on the ground
Watching the snow melt, so I set it up in the living room. Grabbed a cold one, a candle and had a great time
Bit of work needed to set the tent in windy conditions, but it provided grate place to by during windy and cold night. Kept the bike out and used garage as kitchen space and seating area. Cannot wait for my next trip
Magnifique tente, pratique, et espacieuse. Vraiment un super achat.
The lonerider team knows how to build great products. I bought the MotoTent Groundsheet and Awning Kit and 30L Explorer Duffel Dry Bag. Will recommend anyone to add the Awning Kit as this makes a big difference when camping with the bike during the rain and does not take that much additional space. The tent is very spacious for two, but I would recommend the 50l Duffel bag when camping with more than one person—great products and customer service.
I had to set up the MotoRent in the rain; it was a relatively quick and friendly setup and dried on the inside once done. Some additional features in the tent were a great surprise, such as the inner sippers that you can "lock" once inside the tent. I am ordering two more Awning Kits and will also use them with the ADV tent.
Only 3 trips in it so far but all enjoyable. Latest (and longest) one was 11 nights in a row that saw a variety of weather conditions including a cold front that brought two days of rain and wind and dropped the temperature to 30 degrees F. I (selfishly?) kept the bike outside and used the vestibule for cooking, eating, and reading. The MotoTent performed perfectly and kept me warm, dry, and comfortable throughout all 11 days. Thank you Lone Rider!
Realy great stuff!
10min one man set-up, plenty of room for two people with a superb quality.
The tent is incredible! Very spacious! A huge upgrade from what I was using before. It was the first time I used it and setting it up was a bit more work than the videos reflect but I’m assuming it will get easier and faster the more I use it. I do see an issue if using the tent on a surface that can not accept the pegs due to a hard rocky ground and if there aren’t any trees around to toe off to. Otherwise it’s a fantastic tent.
Easy to setup. Loved being able to stand up and setup a chair in the garage to get my pants and boots on.
Tent is good easy setup
Hi I have got the tent and that is a really very good material
And the Lonerider Adventure Equipment is excellent for Adventure riders
The Mototent is great. I love it! For two people, it is perfect, quick and easy to set up
Love my mototent, it is my goto tent for the extra space it gives me for my luggage and gear, Having suffered a spinal injury I find the standing room essential for comfort along with being able to cook and sit out bad weatehr in comfort.
Pack size and weight is good for a tent this size and as the poles are seperate it is easy to spread the load out. Tent can be packed smaller if you use a compression sack.
I recommend this tent to all my friends.
its a great moto tent! it can also be used during car camping.
the first and second time setting it up alone can be a challenge but after that its relatively easy! the same with with packing up the tent and storing it in the bag.
this tent makes camping for enjoyable!
Tente spacieuse, facile à monter et sèche vite .
This tent is perfect for me. The quality and design are unmatched, and the size is ideal for my use. I do not ride a big ADV bike, but rather a sport tourer. Size and weight are critical factors for me. This tent packs up into a small 12 pound roll, and packs very easily atop my duffle bag on the pillion seat. I can even fit it inside my duffle if I am traveling light. Set up is very quick, easy, and sensible. Once set up it has ample room for my bike, and a very spacious area for me. It is not overly spacious for one person like some others, and it definitely has room for two to be cozy but not cramped. And the smaller footprint compared to others makes it much more suitable to tight spaces, whether in the woods or at events such as motorcycle rallies where a whole bunch of tents are vying for space is designated areas. I highly recommend this tent for all riders, but especially for those who are liking for a tent that gives everything you want in a considerably smaller and lighter package.
I have been on the road yet, just set it up in the yard.
It was easy, you peeps did a great design job.
The garage and its weight is whyi chose your product
My experience is more about the service. Don't get me wrong, the product is great but Anna from Lone rider really excelled in service. I had a small issue that they got onto pretty quickly.
Thanks lone rider, I'll be buying your products again!
It's a perfect Motorbike tent. All the details are there.
We love this tent! Do yourself a favour, and get one

Just did the baja and she was perfect ! Nothing to complain !i recommend it !
Best tent over ever owned. Sets up fast and keeps me and my gear dry and out of the elements.

The best camping experience that I’ve ever had in my life was with Lone Rider MotoTent. Excellent quality and finish, bit heavy when it’s packed, but taking into account other pros, you are forgetting about the cons.
Easy set up
Easy pack up
However because it was raining a bit messy
But hey great buy
Would highly recommend
I got my tent in January but could not wait for spring to test it so I put it up despite a snow storm coming and actually slept in it the night of the storm.
We received 20 cm of snow that night and the tent performed very well. I had to get up once to shake the tent and force accumulated snow down from the top of the roof. I was surprised in the morning to find out that no condensation had formed inside the tent so ventilation is good. Materials and construction is high quality. The only change I made was to separate the guy lines in two at each corner. The way they are joined together with a metalic ring doesn't allow to strech the tent fabric as well and redistribute tension more evenly. After doing this my tent looked better and I felt it could withstand stronger winds.
In the end I liked it so much that I ordered an ADV tent for short trips.
I have been on two adventure rides with my lone ride tent & are so happy with shelter & security of the tent
Heaps of room & easy to put up & pack away
The product speaks for itself A unique, best value for money tent. Although not the cheapest on the market, who wants cheap !!! You can tell a lot of hard research has gone in designing this product.
Well done Anna and the team
By far the best tent I've had for travelling the countryside! Easy quick set up and tear down. Even with the bike in the garage there's enough room to set up my table and chair for dinner without removing the tent compartment. Best money spent so far!
Great tent, did not disappoint and arrived super fast!!
We have only pitched the tent once to test it out as summer has not arrived here yet.
The only thing that we noticed is that the poles are quite long and stick out from the pocket sleeves at the ends. It was easy to put up and looks like it will do the job nicely.
Ordered this tent and the delivery was fast, the tent is very well made and it’s huge for something that packs up small, I love the fact that I can stand up inside it’s a game changer for me, it’s a great product and my Africa twin loves it also when it’s hidden away from prying eyes.

bloody nice tent. packs perfectly onto my bike. sadly havent had a chance to go and use it in the bush (thanks covid) but still think its a good product
I was able to spend comfortably even at an altitude of 1200m and 7 degrees Celsius. The night dew in the mountains also put the bike inside, so it didn't get wet at all.
It was really comfortable to be able to stand and work in the tent.
Actually, the inner tent is red, so I was worried about it, but in reality there was no problem at all. I was able to spend more comfortably with the optional tent pole.
Just perfect. Easy to set up, easy to carry, roomy. That is the best fit for rider !
Supert telt. God plass for to, med bagasje.
I havent used it yet, although I have set it up and tried the bike in there, I love it.
Best tent I've ever owned, tons of space and storage compartments, fits even larger bikes with room to spare.
I just have established the Tent, had no possibility to use it yet. But it was so easy and look and feels very good. One of the best investments ever!!
Really good quality, easy to set up. I am very satisfied.
Simle to build up.
always again :-)
