So far a great addition. Not sure how you can go wrong with Lone Rider. Only downside is that there is a little diffraction at night, easily solved by flipping down the metal cover.

Great looking product, well thought out, well built. Was looking for a way to protect the expensive light housing and ended up with something much better. Dresses up the bike with a functional, armored look. I don't plan on taking on the forces of Mordor attop my faithful steed, but I know I am ready should the time come. In the mean time the occasional rock or large bug will have a tough time taking out an eye on my mount.
The team at Lone Rider processed my order quickly and expertly handled the communication about the split order of all my parts due to production dates on the auxilliary lighting. ( Got both sooner than I expected! Thank you!)

Difficult install but works great. Word of advice, on the R1250GS Adventure, if your going to do Moto lights under nose mount, do them first along with the headlight cover as they share a common mounting point.

Fitting is not as straight forward as I’d like. I’ve got the auxiliary light bar on my GS1250 TE. The instructions leave something to be desired, YouTube was my friend.
The guard looks the nuts but I wouldn’t have paid full price for it. Only time will tell if it’s worth it.

The instructions may look a little daunting because it shows and exploded view, but the unit comes partially assembled and installed pretty easily. Bonus was I was able to make it work with the Denali light bar by using a combination of hardware from both products.
